Nordmel Honey

FROM CLEAN NATURE

Our honey is harvested in collaboration by our hard-working bees and dedicated beekeepers, from our own hives straight to the jar. The colour and make of honey depends on which flowers the bees visit.

We are the beekeepers, and we oversee the whole journey of the honey to ensure the highest quality in its clean and natural form.

Every batch of honey goes through thorough quality control.

We offer you quality Estonian honey- nothing is added nor taken away. This way the natural benefits of the honey are preserved in each jar.

Nordmel OÜ has received support under Measure 4.1 “Investments to Improve the Performance of Agricultural Enterprises” for the construction of a modern beekeeping facility. The objective of the investment is to ensure efficient logistics in honey processing (extraction, storage, and packaging), which is essential for increasing Nordmel’s honey production and sales both in the domestic market and for export.

Nordmel OÜ has also received support for the purchase of small-package equipment — a “Stick Pack” packaging machine — as well as various beekeeping supplies (Farrar frames, hive boxes, hive bottoms, hive covers, queen excluders, and feeders).

The investment falls under Measure 4.1 “Investments to Improve the Performance of Agricultural Enterprises.”

In addition, Nordmel OÜ has invested in a glass-jar packaging line to automate honey bottling. As a result, the efficiency of packaging will significantly improve, and the company’s capacity to offer honey in different types of containers will increase. Thanks to this investment, Nordmel OÜ’s competitiveness will grow. The acquisition was carried out with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
